Question regarding NYP Red Caps

Hello,

I will be on train 63 heading for NFS in the next week from NYP (have been on this route many times before). I have a question about Amtrak's Red Cap service at NYP. I know that train 63 is scheduled to leave at 7:15am and I realize I have to do the "check in" procedure at about 6am or so. I need help with my bags (I just have a 19" spinner and my laptop bag), what is the best time to notify a Red Cap for that train and where would be the best place in NYP to get a Red Cap?

If you have access to the Acela lounge, simply go to the front desk and tell them.

If you don't, in the Amtrak waiting area there's a desk at the entrance and you can ask for a Red Cap there.

Conversely, just let the attendant know that is working the desk in the waiting area. They can call one for you...
