Hello,
Just read this news today:
http://www.railway-market.pl/?p=wiecej&id=828
Direct link shows the same information (in English):
http://www.zeleznicesrbije.com/system/en/h...ws_id/7884.html
The involved cost (2 mio. Dinar = $33,219.56, $1 = 60.2055 RSD) pro car seem to good to be true for me.
Interesting how much would be a similar modernisation in the US?
Regarding the train itself: "Avala" is one of the "prime" trains or "showcase" trains in the area connecting both "West" (Vienna with a car to Hamburg) and "East" (daily through service to Moscow) with Belgrade.
BTW: my "avatar" is by coincidence the "Avala" racing next to our slooooow local service in southern Hungary.
