Overnight parking at Bakersfield, or Fresno

Hello, is overnight parking permitted at the Bakersfield station, or the Fresno stations?

How safe is it to leave car more than one day/overnight at any of these?

Any other stations along the San Joaquin Line (up to Stockton) that allow and/or recommend overnight parking?

Bakersfield station is permitted as long as you keep valuables in your car out of sight.

I don't know about Fresno station.

Best thing to do is to call stations with its local phone number about parking info.

Bakersfield has 206 overnight parking spaces. I am planning a trip m-f at the end of January 2012. Do you think space would be available, since I can not make a actual reservation.

My nephew did a medical residency a few years ago in Fresno. He said his weekends were always very busy treating gang-related shooting victims. YMMV.
