New Capital Limited Times

Greetings! With the Capital Limited now running earlier (scheduled to leave Toledo before 5am; arrive Chicago 8:30am) will the diner still be serving breakfast? Starting 6am? I used to look forward to boarding at Toledo and immediately heading to the dining car for breakfast. With the new, earlier departure time I'll probably fall asleep and fail to wake up before arriving in Chicago....

uh....so...does anyone know if they are serving breakfast on the Capital Limited westbound?

My understanding is, yes. Even though the train has an early arrival, there's still time to serve an "early bird" crowd. My guess is that you would need to be seated by 7AM.

Indeed, on a recent trip into CHI on the Capitol Limited, the diner opened at 6:00a local time.

I think the previous poster was correct; the last seating for breakfast was sometime around 7:00a.
