Multi ride tickets?

If I buy a multi ride ticket do I need to make a reservation?????

Generally no you do not need a reservation if you hold a multi-ride, and I’m not aware of any mechanism by which you even could if you wanted.

The catch is that multi-rides aren’t valid on all trains (they are valid on almost all). You can check the Amtrak website to see if the particular train you wish to take accepts multi-rides.
