Good afternoon.

I am booked to ride the Wolverine next month from Detroit to Chicago however have a question with the routing. I see the service starts and finishes in Pontiac. Looking at Google maps, I followed the line up and came to a station called Durand. Do trains run between Durand and Pontiac?

I am asking as I am slowly trying to ride the Amtrak network in full, as and when vacations from the UK allow. If services do not run between these two points I will probably take a quick return trip from Detroit to Pontiac to complete the line!

Durand would be on the Blue Water which runs between Chicago and Port Huron. The answer to your question would be no trains run between there and Pontiac.

Thats what I thought from looking at the two timetables. I assume the line is just there for freight?
