Someone correct me if I'm reading the timetable wrong, but are there a TOTAL of 5 Metroliners (3 South 2 North) on weekdays? ***?

Between DC & NY I count 14 northbound trains & 14 southbound trains each weekday.
The service is lighter going to Boston, however even there I don't see a 2 & 3 combination. It's 2 south and 2 norhtbounds each day.
