Hello All, I am waiting to board the Lake Shore Limited, fortunately I am in one of the NY sleeper cars 4811, because they have a mechanical/bathroom problem on sleeper 4820 on the 48 and are taking it out of service. They are adding a coach cars to accommodate the sleeper car passengers. This same thing happened to me with this train on another trip,. Does anyone know when the new Viewliner Sleeper cars are going into service? They really need them. There are some really upset passengers, first they got bumped out of the sleeper from Albany to Boston, now they are in coach all the way from Chicago to Boston. I realize the Albany Boston situation is due to track work and will be resolved, but the Viewliner sleepers clearly need to be replaced or at least overhauled. If anyone has an update on the new Viewliner Sleepers could you share? Thank you!!
