Lynchburg VA to San Antonio TX Which Routes

Going to blow 60,000 AGR points next spring. Lynchburg to San ANtonio and return

Does anybody have a suggestion for which routes to take going and comeing. Plan on going Sunday to Sunday during May 2012.

Also where to stay in SAS for a couple of days to see the sights.

I have already traveled CVS-CHI on the Cardinal. EB end to end. SWC end to end. CZ Chi-SLC.

Since you've already done CVS-CHI, I would start out by taking the Crescent south and then the Sunset Limited to SAS.

That way you can head north on the Texas Eagle and do CHI-CVS in the other direction (or if you don't want to double up or the days don't line up) you can take the Capitol Limited to WAS and then the Lynchburger back home.
