Late #6 CZ

I am booked on on #6 (arr: 3.05 chi ) then #354 6.05 Departure but I keep looking at the actual

arrival of CZ #6 it would seem impossible for this to work!! What is Amtraks policy , do they put

you up for the night ? put you on a bus? or are you on your one?

That is a guaranteed connection, so it is Amtrak's responsability to get you to your ultimate destination. Since that's one of Amtrak's short haul trains that you're connecting, I'm not sure what Amtrak might do for you. If the train isn't too late, it is possible that they might hold the second train.

Otherwise they might put you up in a hotel, they might give you a bus ticket, or perhaps even some other option. Regardless though, it will be Amtrak's responsability and their dime. Not yours.
