Joliet, IL station

I will be headed to Joliet, IL for business in a few weeks. I am vaguely familiar with the area of the train station, but, I've never really looked around for rental car outlets in the area. Is anyone familiar with the area? In lieu of a rental car, what about availability of taxi cabs? I can always take a cab to the casino for work; I prefer to have a car, but, it's not exactly mandatory. Any additional information about Joliet that can be useful? I usually just drive up there, but, I'm in need of a train trip.
