help planning an East coast trip

Hello good people of amtrak unlimited. I wanted to let everyone know that my trip from Pittsburgh west on the CL and the CZ was the time of my life, thanks for all the help! Now I could use some help planning an East coast trip.

I'm going to take the Pennsylvanian to NYP, then I'm going to make a loop on the Adirondack to montreal, via rail from Montreal to Toronto, then maple leaf back to NYP. Should I make the trip clockwise or counterclockwise? Or should I go from NYP to Montreal to Toronto, or should I go NYP to Toronto to Montreal?

1. Depending upon what you want to do (if anything) in Montreal and Toronto, consult the timetables to see which would work out best for you.

2. Temper that with the posts that hopefully follow telling which direction seems to have the border crossings with the least hassle.
