Hello from the bus! FTL to JAX to NYP Silver Service 92

A big thank you to all those who responded to my thread about this bustitution!

No problems at all....so far at least!

Bus left FTL around 12 15 pm

Just had a 30 mins food stop

And we have WiFi on the bus too!

Driver estimates JAX arrival around 5 45pm

Which means a 5 hour wait for the train but hopefully JAX facilities may be better / bigger than FTL?!

Yes, JAX station is much bigger, but there's nothing around within walking distance to the station. It's basically in the middle of nowhere. If you leave (like to eat), take a cab!

Many thanks for the reply....at least we should all have a bit more space! It was more than a little bit crowded in the tiny temporary ticket/bagcheck office in FTL!

Maybe WiFi too?

Yes, a few rain showers along the I95 but thankfully dry and fine at our food and rest stops.

Just approaching Southside so almost there.

One school of thought on the bus is that the Silver Star may be waiting for us to board even though we don't leave until 1050pm?

Hope so...to get into our sleeper, have a snifter and eat dinner?!
