I'd like to wish Amtrak a Happy Birthday as well. Luckily today, I managed to get a trip to Penn Station on the way to the Yankee game. It was nice to see it in action, at least briefly today.

Yeah the schedule really cuts back on the ability for you to take day trips.

I'll be taking it again, around the 22nd.

What really will work out well is I'll be getting a sufficient dosage of Amtrak travel towards the end of the year/beginning of 2005 when I'll have two trips on Silver Service in a Three month period.
