GRR to FLG - Oct 4

At the station today, the conductor did something strange to me, and collected our tickets inside GRR. She also asked for ID, which I know is the "rule" so I always have mine with me but I've never been asked for ID before when boarding. On board 371 she also took our ticket stubs and used them as seat checks, which works better in my opinion on smaller trains like this one but it also was something new to me. About an hour or so until we're in CHI.
