I will remember this for the next time I stay in Whitefish. There is a summertime only hostel in East Glacier. Now if the westbound EB can get there before 10 PM they may do quite well. Having an agreement with a rental car company would be a good strategy for this new hostel.

You can have a car waiting for you at the Depot when you get off the train.

Ah Glacier. When our two boys were small (decades ago!) we vacationed each summer camping at state and national parks. Glacier (and adjacent Banff) were our absolute favorites. Gorgeous place.

This is a great idea--since much of the lodging in the summer time in our area can get a wee bit pricey!!

And yes, several of the local car rental agencies routinely deliver cars to the arriving EB passengers-even when they are late, like mine last night (around 80 minutes behind schedule)
