I had writted an e-mail to the Department of Transportation, (actually I had writte a letter to Mineta but never heard anything back) asking if they had a plan to see that Amtrak customers would get refunds for tickets they held for dates after they had bankrupted Amtrak. I got a response today from the DOT. "For questions about credits or refunds you need to contact Amtrak." Then they gave me the Amtrak websight. I e-mailed them back and said I disagree, your boss is the one trying to scuttle Amtrak-you should have the plan to refund people who will lose money otherwise.
