Disabled facilities (on Coast Starlight & Southwest Chief)

I am disabled and planning on travelling on the costal starlight and southwest chief. I have booked a wheelchair space for my electric wheelchair but want to take a folding manual wheelchair. Do I need to book this also or can I just turn up with it? Thanks

Is there checked baggage service at your endpoints? Might be possible to check the folding manual, and just board with the electric. Or vice versa Phone call suggested. Might be better the other way around for RRoom purposes, but you have a better idea than us.
