Dinner on 4:40 Departure?

Is there a dinner on the EB immediately after boarding in Seattle at 4:40? That would mean 6 meal times on the #8, and only 5 on the #7.

There is even dinner served on the CL and CONO departing CHI - and they depart 6:30-8 pm!

There is dinner service. but I don't remember exactly when it begins out of Seattle. 5 or 5:30 I believe is the first seating, but I'm not sure.

Yes, they do serve dinner on the #8 out of Seattle. I think the first seating is at 6 PM.

The first dinner seating on #8 leaving Seattle should start at 5:30pm. It shouldn't ever start later than 6:00pm.

We got dinner on the EB even though we left at 7.50pm! It was pretty late though - I think I got a 9.30pm reservation. They provided pizza and bottles of water in the station a few hours earlier too.
