CZ problems?

I noticed the CZ is running about 13 1/2 hours late. That's alot even for the CZ. I can't imajine your run of the mill passenger is still on board, or that there are any passengers waiting at the stations along the route. Maybe they will bus them to Chicago like the CL bused everyone to Washington yesterday.

I was making a reservation on the phone for some first time Amtrak travelers, while I had an agent on the phone I asked about #6. She said it was a rock slide that had blocked the tracks.

It could happen. It's been raining for 24 hours here in Denver, and just now clearing. I was held up for an hour on No. 6 last month when a rock slid down in the Tunnel District, after another rainy spell. They said there was three inches clearance between the rock and the train when we inched past it. I know no details of this incident, though.
