CZ #6

A group from my church is leaving on the #5 this Saturday morning from LNK to GSC. They have all been forewarned of the impending delays due to the flooding and detours but one of the participants came up to me today and said, "the #6 is running further behind than the #5" so I just checked the train status and the #6 has been real late. What's the problem with the #6? Thanks!

Having just done that run two weeks ago, I can't speak specifically to today, but in general between the flooding and all the freight, it's just a mess on those rails these days. I think only the disappearance of the water and time is going to fix this.

When i took the 6 on Thursday it was running 3 hours behind, but compared to the 5 we'd taken on Tuesday being 4 and a half hours late it was almost nothing

Does anyone know how they've been handling the Thruways connection to the Texas Eagle from the 6 at Galesburg?
