CS pokey pokey (11/12-14)

Anyone know what's up with the southbound CS? Last 3 days it limped into LA 6 hours, 48 minutes late, 4 hours, 17 minutes late and 3 hours, 54 minutes late.

I don't know, but I hope my southbound trip in December, which requires a connection to the Pacific Surfliner, goes smoothly. These last few days haven't made me so confident that it will work out perfectly.

The CS 11 was early into SAC today.

I thought it was scheduled track work by UP that took hours longer than expected but others should know for sure.

Today's southbound CS was on time out of Santa Barbara.

Our 11.10 N/B CS was an hour late getting into SAC, and 6.5 hours late into SEA on 11.11.

A tunnel was closed for the night for track work somewhere before Dunsmuir. Once open we sat there while six freights and CS #11 went S/B. I later heard

while sitting out in the middle of the nothing, they let coach passengers out trackside for fresh air and smoking.

Our train crew timed-out at Dunsmuir.
