I'm travelling sleeper Orl-NUS Nus--Chi Chi-Msp in Sept. I was just wondering what the odds are of a misconnect, especially in New Orleans, and if so where is the bustitution made?

From what I have seen and heard, the connection from the Sunset to the City at New Orleans is fairly reliable in both directions. If it should happen to be running late and requires a bustitution, no need to fret. It's easy to put someone on a bus at Pensacola and beat the train to New Orleans, and I don't think they have to do that often.

Thanks for the reply. Its appreciated. I picked up my tickets today at Tampa Union Station. The attendant almost fell over backwards when he saw I paid only $538 one way, in a roomette from TPA to MSP for 2 people! I didnt even use any codes accept for AAA. All deals should be so sweet. Now I'm hoping to get a call from marketing for an upgrade!
