Companion Voucher Question

Companion voucher H110 says "Not valid for sleeper accommodations" and "Upgrade to First or Business class available upon full payment of accomodation charges".

So if I use this can I pay full value for an onboard upgrade?

I upgraded to sleeper twice last week with a companion voucher ticket. No problems, just like any other upgrade.

On board upgrade yes, if one is still available. Pre-departure upgrade, no.
