We will be connecting to the Cardinal in Chicago and was wondering if the ML will be a zoo like it is for the 2pm trains? Also if we choose to leave our luggage there and go mess around in the Loop for a short bit (if the #6 is on time or early) what time would we need to be back to the ML to board the Cardinal? Also, do they

offer dinner right when you board or later on? Thanks everyone!

You should be fine in the lounge. They will probably board the sleeper 5-5:15. When I rode it out of Chicago the SCA made " the one and only announcement " for dinner.

When I was on 50 in Feb, the LSA in charge of the diner who was the funniest guy you could meet. Knocked on my door and Called me "B Man" since I was in room B and said "Their is free dinner in the Diner". I think that was 20 mins after departure.
