Beech Grove may lose Amtrak facility to Michigan

They have done a lot of great work on

Amtrak equipment over the years there. Don't I recall that the Gov. of Indiana, who seemed to favor the Bush/Mineta "Kill Amtrak" budget proposal, said that he felt the facility and its 600 jobs were secure? Are these people just a french fry short of a happy meal?
