Auto Train hits pedestrian in Fayetteville, NC 10-31-21

Unfortunately the "hits" keep coming.

Police were on the scene of an accident Sunday about noon in which a man was struck by a train downtown.

Officers at the scene said the individual survived and was taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital for treatment.

Wow, this is really really bad. I feel for the crew and passengers on the AT feeling the brunt of this and for the people killed or injured. Change needs to happen. Now.

Yes, change needs to happen - but it needs to include the pedestrians and vehicle traffic and not just keep blaming the trains.
