The July figures reflect continued success with the growth of Amtrak's business in both the NEC and Long Distance trains.
NEC for month of July shows +4.9% in Ridership & +12.4 in Revenue.
Long Distance is +12.3% in Ridership & +22.9% in Revenue.
It seems to me that revenue management has got their game plan working pretty effectively. No Long Distance train showed negative numbers and many were double digit growth.
October - July overall shows 22.6M riders - +6.1% & $1.5B in revenue - +8.6%
