Another fatality in Amtrak accident

Woman was killed in the incident. Witnesses said she tried to go around the crossing guards.

1. Derailment in Slidell involving 18-wheeler & the Crescent.

2. Pedestrian on tracks killed when hit by SL in Vinton

3. Collision with a Toyota Camry in Jefferson Parish (CONO).

I thought it was clear that the picture was of Darwin. Then again I think its obvious that driving around a crossing gate is a really bad idea :blink:

People that try to beat a train across a grade crossing are either very stupid or have a death wish. In either case a fatality results and people often blame the railroad. It is sad that someone lost their life this way but when you play with fire, you will get burned.
