As you may know, Amtrak is getting some new single-level long distance cars, " the Viewliner II". With the launch of these new cars, Amtrak is also launching "Amtrak America". This is a brand that will bring out the best in Amtrak's long-haul trains.
"Amtrak America" will utilize Amtrak's Phase III striping on the new single-level long distance cars as a tribute to their heritage. Amtrak's current logo and paint scheme will return on the standard production cars.
