Yesterday, Amtrak Empire Service (I believe 284?) arrived Niagara Falls, NY with their normal locos/coach cars plus 2 loco and metroliner so these extra will be on its way to Hornell, NY to pickup the new Acela cars and take them to Philly. Apparently it's going to go to Philly via Harrisburg. So I would assume it will take the old Buffalo Day Express routing at some point. I would have to sit and look at the detailed routing. But should be a fun chase for someone. If I had more notice that someone would have been me.
