Just found out I still have some tickets for the Hiawatha train that I printed in February. Has anyone used tickets for unreserved trains and still had the points post or should I make a new reservation and exchange my old paper tickets for an eticket so that the points post? If I exchange the tickets I'll have to pay a small difference since the pricing on the unreserved train has gone up slightly. I realize eticketing is still new but I am looking for advice.

I don't think it will matter one bit. A ticket is a ticket for an unreserved train. Just save the stub in case you have to make a missing point request. The form now starts by asking you to select paper or eTicket since the info required for a missing point request is different.

As long as the ticket's haven't passed the expiration date, no reason to exchange them. Just make sure that you use them before they expire.
