I was really close to Select+ status again and was going through some old tickets to verify if they posted. I had delayed calling for 3+ months after the trips since it was right around September\October before the transition.
Well, they wanted to just give me bonus points and I advised them that it was the Rail Points I needed and I explained why. They posted them and all is well. I am now over 10K for the year. However, multiple agents over the course of several phone calls advised me that I would have until February 28, 2011 to earn the necessary points to get over the 10K threshold.
I advised them that it had always been based on the actual calendar year to accumulate the necesary points---even though status always lasts through 2/28 of the following year.
Is anyone aware of a change in policy?
