#6 running late

Anyone have an idea why #6 is running 2.5 hours late? We're supposed to catch it in Fraser in our way back to Omaha & I saw it's already running really late & as of now there's still 6 hours until it was originally scheduled

Considering that it's coming out of California over donner pass, there are many things that could have delayed the train. I don't have specific details about that train.

I was on that train and I will post everything else that happened in my travelogue this week. The elk was a big bull and got lodged under the lead engine and the train crew could not remove it. It happened just before we got to Helper, Utah. We had a bunch more problems afterwards. Stay tuned for my travelogue!
