On the last day of a Triple Point AGR promotion, I wanted to get in on a 600 point affordable quick turn trip. A week earlier, I figured out a new way to get a train fix and point run for under $20 by making a quick turn trip from MKE to SVT. It gives me about 45 minutes of train time for less than half the cost of running all the way to CHI. Plus, it doesn't take very long, so I'd still be able to get all my "Harry the Happy Homeowner" chores done too.
