Letter to the editor in the Albany, NY Times-Union, 5/13/03:
High-speed trains won't win many fans The Times Union has been covering efforts by New York state to have Amtrak put into service new high-speed trains, which will allegedly shorten travel time from Albany to New York City by 10 or 15 minutes. What riders do not know is that these trains are a design disaster, uncomfortable and a disgrace.
