Hi Guys,

My first day on the forum! Happy to be here!

These photos have been out for a while but I don't know if they have made it around to this forum yet. These are photos of Bachmann's prorotype model of the Acela HHP-8. They say there should abe a painted model out soon for display.

What do you guys think? I think it looks very promssing. The word is that they run as good as they look! I already reserved two for myself!!
 
Great looking unit! Im still waiting to see Bachmann's new and improved Amfleet cars (which come in the Acela lava lamp scheme as well as the other schemes)! I thought they are due out this summer? I know they show them on Walthers as well as Bachmanns own site as a future model, but they have had that up for sometime and there has been no pictures nor hardly anything even said about them.

Just like the real Acela and HHP-8 locomotives, things get delayed. I remember Bachmanns HO scale Acela Express trainset was out 6 months (or even more) from their originaly announced release date.
 
Well the "Bach-Man" still says that December is the release date. He seems pretty confident about that date too. Lets keep our fingers crossed!
