Woman sentenced for fraud against Amtrak & others

A federal judge today sentenced Deborah Theresa Meeks to 71 months in jail and three years of supervised release for her filing of a wrongful death lawsuit involving the 1993 derailment of Amtrak's Sunset Limited passenger train.

It kills me that there are peole out there who take advantage of situations where lives are lost. This is just one example of these types situations. I know about a half a dozen people have been convicted for claiming false relatives in 9/11, it just sickens me.
