My sister-in-law and her daughter have tickets from Cincinnati to Boston, October 9th. I ordered their tickets online. I was given her married name, but unbeknownst to her mom she now uses her maiden name. Could we, should we, and how would we get her name changed on her tickets? Thanks, Spot

That happened to me. I had used my nickname my entire life, but upon retirement I switched to my legal name. I ordered my Amtrak tickets online under my nickname, but my driver's license now shows my legal name. I called Amtrak and explained the problem.

I don't recall if they cancelled the first set of tickets, or if they just corrected them. I went to Chgo Union Station and picked them up after I called in the correction.

I'd suggest you call customer and ask them what to do. I had to show identification to pick up my tickets.
