UP special trains today

[Midland Valley]

There are two special passenger trains coming into Pratt, Kansas one in a few minutes and the other late tonight. An engineer in our Church is bringing the later one. I will get my camera and head to the depot soon. They are putting every freight between here and Dalhart, TX into the sidings for these trains, (on the old Golden State Route) so why can't they dispatch Amtrak trains this efficiently?
