Two Dome Cars on California Zephyr

Amtrak #6(14) that will be arriving in Chicago later today has the private dome cars Puget Sound and Sierra Hotel bring up the rear. This California Zephyr was running two hours late through Agency, Iowa.

I see these cars received some press coverage when they passed through Colorado on Monday.

Very unusual for press to print a story such as that....even a very small town paper (GSC). Possibly a group boarded them at GSC, and publicized the fact.....

Wouldn't it be nice if covering the recent return of the Ski Train caused someone in the local media to keep a closer eye on rail travel? Probably just wishful thinking though.
