I have a LOT of old track that I want to use, but they are from four various manufacturers. That's my dad's fault. For my 12th or 13th Christmas, he made a wonderful layout for me that I tore apart the same day.
I have the old Tomix brown sectional track, some bits of old Kato Unitrak, an oval of Bachmann EZ Trak, and bits and pieces of Atlas "standard" rails-on-ties track.
I have used Atlas' Right Track Software, but it's been stopped.
I love what Railmodeller offers in libraries, but it's only for the Mac.
RR Track doesn't support Japanese sectional track.
Anyrail looks awesome for the PC, but only allows 50 sections before requiring a $59 payout.
Is there no good planning software for Android yet? How about a web-based Java application?
I want to be able to use all my track types. Eventually, I would love a semi portable set up - a single 4'x8' sheet with an adjoining 2'x4' sheet for a storage yard that can be removed for transport. I have a habit of not staying in one place for more than 10 years...
