Silver Lariat Vista-Dome on Amtrak #5(20)

There is a dome car traveling westward right now on Amtrak #5(20). You can't really tell in the video, but I've been told this is the Silver Lariat which is an original California Zephyr Vista-Dome.

That is a beautiful car. It often runs with two other "Silvers," one of which is an observation car. They are all re-done and exquisite.

There is a movie called the Big Easy Express that features all three of the Zephyr Silvers. It's about some bands that take a vintage train from San Francisco to New Orleans, playing concerts along the way. Pretty good.
