Shipping by Amtrak

I know you can ship using Amtrak Express services. But can you ship large items? I see you can ship human remains between certain cities, but I have a bed I'd like to ship. Will Amtrak take a bed, (mattress, box spring) if packed properly?

It looks like a bed may be too bulky to ship via Amtrak Express according to their Amtrak Express Shipping website. I'm not positive, though, so a call to their 800 shipping number listed on the linked site would probably answer your question best.
