Profile Change for Dovecote

Last week we sold our part time residence in Harpers Ferry (HFY). Sadly I made a change to my profile this morning to remove HFY from the location block. This move is bittersweet to say the least. I will miss the frequent visits to the HFY station to watch the Capitol Limited arrive and depart with a core of railfans that were like family to me. On the other hand without a mortgage payment to worry about my trips on Amtrak should be more frequent now. It is doubtful I can swing a trip to Philadelphia for my first ever Gathering due to family commitments but hopefully next year. Hope to see you all on a train soon!

I have been to Thomasville, GA and know that is a beautiful town.

I wish you well and while you will miss Harpers Ferry, you can always

visit in the future. We will have another Gathering next year in the

midwest, so you may be able to attend. Have a good day.
