An electrical outage at the start of Wednesday afternoon's rush hour delayed Amtrak and NJ Transit trains along the nation's busiest passenger rail corridor.
Three of the four tracks on the Northeast Corridor, owned and operated by Amtrak, lost power at 4:04 p.m. in the overhead lines near Edison that power the locomotives, Amtrak spokesman Dan Stessel said.

The full story from 1010 WINS News.

This is also impacting NJT Transit whom last I heard was still experiencing delays of up 45 minutes.

Pfft, Im sorry but all I can say is what else is new?! The Northeast Corridor seems to have these kinda problems an awful lot, hopefully someday the Corridor will be brought into a modern, reliable state. But first the government will have to hand over the funds, and if thats gonna happen <_<
