interesting agr routing

called agr last week to do a 1 zone sleeper redemption spk-saf. i figured they would route me down california's central valley so as to make a same day connection with the swc. not so. they are sending us pdx-lax on the cs. overnight in la (at our expense) and on the swc the next evening. much preferable to 2 buses plus the san joaquins to get to la from sacramento

That's interest! I never saw that choice!

I will have another (somewhat) interesting routing. Next February, I want to get an award from TOL (the border) to PDX. But the only routing from TOL is via the CL/EB. But I want to go via LAX, but the SWC/CS is only offered as a choice from CHI to PDX. So I will buy a $30 ticket (and earn 100 more AGR points ) and get an AGR award for CHI-PDX! Then I can go CL/SWC/CS as I want!
