I’ve ridden both the Meteor and Star, and both trains usually have a couple of longer layovers. Jacksonville is one, and Savannah might be another—depending on the train. I know there’s a long time required at DC to swap engines.
Anyhow, does the Starlight have extended layovers where you can walk off the train and along the platform? I’m assuming at Portland, Oakland, and maybe Sacramento.
