Checking Luggage - SAN to TOL

On March 1st I leave SAN on the PSL, connect to the TE to CHI then the CL to TOL. I am fine with having to carry my luggage if I have to, but I cannot tell by the Amtrak.com site if the Baggage Checking times correspond with the CL arriving in TOL.

Does anyone know or has anyone done baggage checking into TOL.

I can not say with 100% certainty, but if TOL shows a checked baggage symbol for the CL (or any city and any train), the service will be offered at that time. If by chance the train is late, checked baggage service will still be available for that train.
