Amtrak E-ticket Reservation for minor

Hello I am 17 years old and am travelling from Norfolk, VA to Washington DC. My dad recently bought me a ticket while also using his AAA Card for a discount. However, on the reservation it has his name as the passenger and during the ticket buying process online there was no room to specify who the passenger was. Is it possible to change the name of passenger and also will I be required to show his AAA card? If changing the name is not possible I am wondering if the conductor will ask for my ID as well as our last names are the same. One more thing, does my dad need to come with me to the station to show that I am his son and everything?

Your age isn't a problem, but yes - the ticket needs to be in your name. Should be an easy phone call to make and swap.
